Melba Ed Prep

 The MELBA Educator Preparation Academy  is the flagship program for the Creative Media & Communication Pathway. It is a pocket academy within the center that prepares and inspires the next generation of Mississippi educators. It honors the legacy of Melba White, a dedicated Mississippi teacher and the mother of Speaker Jason White, whose leadership and support helped secure funding for this center. It also defines the mission of the academy itself:
